Job summary

Grasshopper Bank seeks a Customer Analytics Engineer to own data-driven customer lifecycle narratives. You will build scalable data models, pipelines, and semantic layers to illuminate who our clients are and how they engage with digital banking platforms.

You will partner with Marketing, Product, and Finance to translate hypotheses into quantitative dashboards in Tableau and reliable data products powering activation engines such as Braze.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years in a hybrid data role such as Analytics Engineer, Customer Data Engineer, BI Developer, or Marketing Data Engineer
• Advanced SQL & BigQuery with performance tuning
• Dimensional modeling and event data modeling; dbt experience
• Python for data transformations, API integrations, and orchestration
• Tableau Desktop/Server/Cloud dashboard expertise
• CAC/LTV and cohort analytics understanding
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Data Analytics or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Customer 360, C-MDM models and a single source of truth in BigQuery
• Build scalable ELT/ETL pipelines to ingest and enrich data
• Develop analytics-ready models for marketing activation (Braze)
• Create executive dashboards on acquisition, retention, churn, and product penetration
• Partner with Marketing, Product, and Finance to translate hypotheses into quantitative dashboards and data products
