Job summary

Scout Freight seeks a Cross-Border Sales Director to build and lead a U.S.–Mexico freight book. You will prospect, sell, price, close, and then manage cradle-to-grave shipments with support from our operations team.

You will design onboarding, carrier vetting, and border workflows; grow cross-border carrier networks; and coordinate with internal teams to ensure execution and performance. Bilingual English/Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in logistics, broker sales, or account management.
• Cradle-to-grave capability across sales and operations.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish for commercial work.
• Experience standing up a new vertical, desk, or branch preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build a cross-border (U.S.–Mexico) book of business from the ground up—prospecting, selling, pricing, and closing new customers.
• Design and document processes for customer onboarding, carrier vetting, border workflows, and service standards.
• Source and grow a network of cross-border carriers on both sides of the border.
• Navigate cross-border logistics with customs coordination and border-crossing decisions.
• Act as the commercial face of the vertical with customers, carriers, and partners.
• Coordinate with internal operations to ensure on-time execution and proactive communication.
• Track revenue, margin, volume, and service levels to refine strategy.
• Stay agile as Scout Freight scales and innovates across services.
