JAS Worldwide, Inc. is seeking a Director, Cross Border located in Laredo, Texas. This key role is responsible for the strategy, development, and execution of cross-border road freight operations across North America. The director will partner closely with operations, customs, and commercial teams to ensure cost-effective transportation solutions and deliver profitable growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in road freight and customs coordination, with experience in managing P&L and substantial operational teams. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in road freight or trucking operations with significant cross-border responsibility.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing multi-site or multi-region operations teams.
• Proven experience managing transportation, P&L, and negotiating carrier agreements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy and execution of cross-border ground freight operations across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada.
• Oversee integrated cross-border solutions, ensuring compliance and operational consistency.
• Develop pricing strategies and lead procurement strategy across carriers and vendors.
