ProAg is seeking a Crop Insurance Adjuster to join our team serving the San Joaquin Valley region. The role involves field inspections, loss assessment, and coordinating with policyholders remotely from California, with significant travel to farms and ranches.

The candidate will work from home covering the San Joaquin Valley, travel up to 75%, and apply ProAg adjusting guidelines and MPCI regulations to various policies. ProAg emphasizes a strong learning culture and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Crop insurance experience in claims, compliance or ag-related background preferred.
• Analytical skills and attention to detail essential.
• Basic computer and internet skills required.
• Strong communication, negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Perform fact-finding to determine cause and percentage of loss, escalating issues when needed.
• Explain regulations and procedures to claimants, agents, and industry contacts.
• Communicate ProAg's position on emerging industry topics and coverage programs.
• Keep knowledge of MPCI, Crop Hail, and Federal Crop Insurance rules up to date.
