Job summary

Zuriz North America is seeking a Crop Claims Specialist or Crop Claims Field Adjuster I to support RCIS. The role involves evaluating liability, verifying coverage, and handling claims across southern Alabama or the Florida Panhandle within a 50-mile radius.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 4+ years in agricultural claims (specialist) or 6+ months (field adjuster), and must obtain CAPP within 180 days. Remote work is available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent with required experience in agricultural claims.
• Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program (CAPP) certification must be obtained within 180 days of hire.
• Reliable transportation and travel within territory.
• RCIS physical requirements for field work in agricultural settings.

Responsibilities

• Assess liability by gathering and analyzing relevant facts and applying procedures.
• Verify policy coverage and determine claim eligibility under applicable coverages.
• Participate in Risk Management Agency reviews and referrals as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of claims information and protect Zurich’s reputation.
• Continuing education and professional development to stay current with industry trends.
