Job summary

Zurich North America is hiring an RCIS Crop Claims Specialist or Crop Field Adjuster I to join our RCIS team serving South Dakota counties within 50 miles of Beadle, Jerauld, Sanborn, Brule, Aurora, Davison, Buffalo and Hand. The role involves liability assessment, coverage verification and field investigations in agricultural settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• CAPP certification must be obtained within 180 days of hire.
• Reliable transportation and travel within territory.

Responsibilities

• Exercise judgment to determine liability by gathering and analyzing relevant facts.
• Analyze coverage to determine if loss falls within policy.
• Participate in Risk Management Agency reviews and referrals.
• Maintain confidentiality of claims information.
• Keep technical knowledge current through education and professional societies.
