Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking a RCIS Crop Claims Field Adjuster I to work primarily from a home-based office in Georgia. The role includes field inspections, travel within the territory, and evaluating crop loss for indemnities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills preferred.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills helpful.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections, read maps/aerial photos, measure fields and discuss findings with farmers.
• Explain regulations and interpretations to claimants, agents and industry professionals.
• Perform fact-finding on crop damage and transmit loss information for indemnities.
• Gather facts, apply applicable law, and establish negligence basics.
• Complete claim reviews and audits on lower-level adjusters as assigned.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory and company policies to ensure legal compliance.
• Contribute to team projects as needed.
