Job summary

Frontier Behavioral Health seeks a Crisis Triage Specialist to provide telephone crisis intervention for youth, adults, and families. The role includes triaging calls, assessing risk, coordinating referrals, and developing safety plans within a Trauma‑Informed Care framework.

Located in Spokane, WA, the position offers a part-time schedule (.6 FTE) with a 24-hour weekly footprint, weekend hours, and a shift differential. Training and core competencies are required before remote work eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Health is required.
• Must submit for Counselor Agency Affiliated – Registered credential from WA State Department of Health within 30 days of hire.
• Experience with crisis intervention and risk assessments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone triage and crisis intervention services.
• Perform risk assessments to determine suicide/homicide risk and arrange immediate response as needed.
• Collaborate with clients, families, and partners to develop stabilization and safety plans.
• Complete comprehensive documentation to support safety plans and service delivery.
• Refer to Law Enforcement, Mobile Crisis, DCR, or Active Rescue as appropriate.
• Follow NCQA standards and 988/ lifeline guidelines in all activities.
