Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Crisis & Referral Specialist (Nevada) for a virtual, full-time role. You will handle inbound calls, perform safety screenings, and craft action plans with individuals in crisis, coordinating with services to ensure access and safety across multiple states.

This role requires at least a high school diploma and crisis experience; a BS/BA in mental health is preferred. Training includes in-person sessions; hybrid/virtual options are noted with travel within commuting

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year in behavioral health or 6 months direct crisis experience.
• BS/BA in a mental health or human services field strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Takes inbound calls from individuals needing support, services, or in crisis.
• Performs safety screenings and risk assessments.
• Develops action plans with individuals based on screenings.
• Documents interactions accurately and timely.
• Provides linkage follow-up to ensure service access.
• Coordinates with agencies and resources to optimize support.
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and regulations.
