Job summary

Paycom, an industry-leading provider, is hiring Credit Representatives for a work-from-home role serving the Houston area. You’ll handle inbound/outbound communications via phone, chat, email and text, negotiate payments, and guide customers toward debt resolution with empathy and accuracy.

The role requires at least 1.5 years in collections, a quiet home workspace, reliable internet, and the ability to use CRM tools while meeting KPIs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1.5 years of 1st or 3rd party collections experience.
• Private, quiet room at home during work hours.
• Internet connection of 50 MB or more, hard-wired.
• Space for two PC monitors; company provides equipment.
• Must sign and acknowledge work-from-home requirements.
• Personal cell phone to install security app.
• Must be present in virtual environment via webcam during all hours.
• Must meet minimum performance levels and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with consumers via phone, live chat, email and text.
• Train to handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism.
• Negotiate and set up payments.
• Navigate CRM software to track interactions.
• Learn negotiation and sales techniques for various industries.
• Negotiate payment agreements and help customers get out of debt.
• General computer skills to navigate multiple screens and types.
• Make sound decisions to support customers and collections goals.
