Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking experienced Collections Specialists to join our remote team. You will manage inbound/outbound calls, negotiate payment plans, locate borrowers, and document activity while ensuring compliance with debt collection laws.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently while meeting team goals.
• Knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.
• Professional, reliable, and able to maintain a confidential remote workspace.
• Excellent verbal communication and active listening.
• Residency in an LCS-approved state.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlement agreements.
• Utilize skip-tracing tools to locate borrowers and assets.
• Manage assigned portfolios and prioritize collection activities.
• Work toward individual and departmental performance goals.
• Maintain detailed account documentation.
• Deliver professional, respectful customer interactions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and company policies.
• Maintain consistent communication with management while working remotely.
