Job summary

Continuant is seeking a detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist to support credentialing and recredentialing of healthcare providers with insurance networks. This remote role involves ensuring compliance, maintaining accurate documentation, and coordinating with payers.

You will prepare enrollment applications, track timelines, assist audits for HIPAA compliance, and communicate updates to leadership while supporting the Credentialing Manager during high-volume periods.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of credentialing processes and healthcare regulations.
• Experience with provider enrollment and credentialing.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and track provider enrollment applications.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of credentialing documentation (licenses, certifications, and malpractice).
• Monitor credentialing timelines to meet deadlines and payer requirements.
• Assist audits of credentialing files for HIPAA compliance.
• Communicate updates on credentialing processes to Senior Credentialing Specialist and management.
• Provide reports and summaries of credentialing activities for review by management.
