Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Coordinator, Managed Care, Credentialing to support credentialing and enrollment for providers across contracted payors. The role involves tracking credentialing activities, maintaining licenses, and ensuring timely enrollment while supporting the Credentialing Supervisor.

Responsibilities include documenting credentialing steps, coordinating provider enrollments, ensuring licenses are current, and training on new workflows.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of credentialing or payer enrollment experience in a managed care or provider setting.
• Experience with credentialing databases and payer environments.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends when needed.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficiency with Excel and MS Word.
• College degree or commensurate healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Document and track all credentialing/enrollment and hospital privileging activities.
• Maintain licenses and certifications in the credentialing platform to ensure regional compliance.
• Coordinate provider enrollment for all groups and providers.
• Ensure licenses and certifications are accurate and current.
• Complete forms and documents for hospital privileges as required.
• Meet deadlines for processing and reporting.
• Provide updates to Credentialing Supervisor on progress.
