Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Coordinator for Managed Care Credentialing to ensure active credentialing/enrollment with all contracted payors and maintain licensure for all providers. This role involves tracking credentialing activities, updating licenses, and coordinating provider enrollment across groups while meeting deadlines.

The position supports ongoing education and process improvements within the credentialing platform, with flexibility to work extended hours as needed and participate in

Qualifications

• 3+ years credentialing or payer enrollment experience in managed care or provider setting
• Knowledge of payer environment and payer issues
• Ability to work flexible schedule including overtime and weekends
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Independence and teamwork skills
• Experience with Excel and Word
• Healthcare college degree preferred
• Credentialing database experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Document and track credentialing/enrollment, re-credentialing, and hospital privileging activities
• Maintain licenses and certifications to ensure compliance across regions
• Participate in training and new system workflows
• Coordinate provider enrollment activities for all groups/providers
• Ensure licenses and certifications are accurate and up-to-date
• Prepare forms to obtain hospital privileges as needed
• Meet reporting deadlines consistently
• Provide updates to Credentialing Supervisor and team
