Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a qualified tax professional to assist TurboTax customers in completing federal and state returns virtually. An active, unrestricted credential (CPA/EA/Practicing Attorney) and strong tax knowledge are required.

You will guide customers through tax concepts, provide advice, perform full service returns, and document interactions while meeting KPIs. Remote role, US residents only.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax knowledge.
• 2+ years of recent federal/state 1040 preparation for at least 30 clients per season.
• State licenses/permits or ability to obtain; PTIN required.
• Willing to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Circular 230 knowledge.
• Proficient with technology and general computer skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills; confident in video/audio tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus; United States residency required.

Responsibilities

• Virtual, customer-facing role using Smartlook to interact with customers.
• Help TurboTax customers with tax returns: tax advice, full service returns, product inquiries, tax calculations.
• Create high quality customer interactions with empathy and expertise in tax preparation.
• Leverage government sites and resources to provide accurate answers in plain language.
• Apply practices and company policies to troubleshoot and resolve inquiries.
• Document customer interactions and outcomes.
• Meet KPI metrics and Big Bet Goals; participate in pilots and validations.
• Complete required training and development as directed by the business.
