Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a motivated tax professional to assist TurboTax customers remotely. You will provide expert guidance, tax preparation, and explanations of tax terms via video interactions. A credentialed background (CPA/EA/Practicing Attorney) and strong communication are required.

You will help with tax advice, full-service returns, and product questions, while meeting performance metrics and completing required training.

Qualifications

Active unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with tax prep experience.
2+ years of federal/state 1040 prep for 30+ clients per season.
Must possess or obtain state licenses/certificates/permits/bonds.
Must possess an active PTIN.
Willingness to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Strong knowledge of Circular 230.
Proficient with technology and software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Virtual, customer-facing role using video software to interact with customers.
Provide tax advice, full-service return preparation and signature, and product inquiries.
Create high-quality customer interactions with empathy and expertise in tax preparation.
Use government sites and resources to answer customers with clear language.
Document customer interactions and maintain records.
Meet KPI metrics and Big Bet Goals.
Participate in pilot testing and training as needed.
Complete required training and development.
