Intuit, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated tax professional with an active unrestricted credential to help TurboTax customers complete their returns virtually. You will provide expert tax guidance, perform full service return preparation, and explain tax concepts in plain language.

This remote role requires 20+ hours per week and offers performance-based pay, bonuses, and benefits. Ideal candidates reside in the United States and can service customers across time zones.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted credential: CPA/EA or practicing attorney with tax prep experience.
• 2+ years of federal/state 1040 preparation for 30+ clients per season using tax software.
• Must hold or be able to obtain state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Active PTIN required.
• Willing to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must reside in the United States.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Virtual, customer-facing role using video communications software to interact with customers.
• Provide tax advice, full service return preparation and signature, and address product/ software inquiries.
• Build high-quality interactions with empathy and deep tax knowledge.
• Leverage government resources to deliver accurate answers in plain language.
• Apply procedures to troubleshoot tax advice and preparation questions.
• Document customer interactions and track outcomes.
• Meet KPI metrics and participate in pilots and projects as needed.
