Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a remote tax expert to assist TurboTax customers with expert guidance, tax preparation, and explanations of tax terms.

You will communicate via video, deliver full-service returns, and help customers understand tax software and government resources with empathy and accuracy. You must hold an active unrestricted credential (CPA/EA/Attorney), have 2+ years of recent experience handling 1040s for many clients, and be willing to train and meet KPI targets in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted credential: CPA/EA/Practicing Attorney with tax prep experience.
• 2+ years of recent federal/state 1040 prep for 30+ clients per season.
• State licenses, permits, or bonds required or able to obtain.
• Active PTIN.
• Willing to work minimum 20 hours per week.
• Knowledge of Circular 230.
• Proficient with technology and software.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.
• Must reside in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Interact with TurboTax customers via video and audio tools.
• Provide tax advice, full service return preparation and signature, and product inquiries.
• Deliver high quality customer interactions with empathy and expertise in tax preparation.
• Use government sites and resources to find correct answers for customers.
• Follow defined procedures to resolve tax advice and preparation inquiries.
• Document customer interactions and outcomes.
• Work toward KPIs and Big Bet Goals; participate in pilots and projects.
• Complete required trainings and compliance programs.
