Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a tax professional to help TurboTax customers complete their returns in a remote setting.

This role requires an active unrestricted credential (CPA/EA/Practicing Attorney) and strong communication skills. You will provide tax guidance, perform full-service return preparation, answer questions, and document interactions while meeting KPIs and participating in trainings and project work.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted credential: CPA/EA or Attorney with tax prep experience.
• 2+ years of recent federal and state 1040 prep for 30+ clients per season using tax software.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Must possess an active PTIN.
• Willing to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Working knowledge of Circular 230.
• Proficient with technology and video/audio tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Must reside in the United States.

Responsibilities

• This is a virtual, customer-facing role; you will use video communications software to interact with customers.
• Provide tax advice, full service return preparation and signature.
• Answer product/software inquiries and perform tax calculations.
• Create high-quality customer interactions with empathy and deep tax knowledge.
• Use government websites and resources to find accurate answers for customers.
• Apply defined procedures to troubleshoot and resolve inquiries.
• Document customer interactions.
• Meet KPIs and Big Bet Goals.
• Participate in pilot testing, projects, and training as needed.
