Job summary

JLL's Cost Controls Lead is a senior, program-level role within the Center of Excellence, driving cost governance, estimating rigor, forecasting accuracy, and risk visibility across the portfolio. This role leads the Program Estimators team and owns standards, methodologies, and outputs that ensure cost certainty and predictable outcomes across all service lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 7–10+ years in construction cost management or estimating.
• Proven leadership of estimating or cost controls teams.
• Strong understanding of CSI trade costs and multi‑phase estimating.
• Experience supporting retail, restaurant, or prototype programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own program‑wide cost controls standards and governance frameworks.
• Lead the Program Estimators team to deliver phase‑appropriate outputs.
• Oversee budgeting: scoping, engineered drawings, and final pricing.
• Benchmark costs and monitor market conditions.
• Provide cost risk visibility and early warning insights.
