Job summary

Hood Container Corporation is seeking an Account Executive with a hunter mindset to drive corrugated sales in a remote Richmond-based role. You will generate new business, manage a revenue portfolio, and leverage the company’s “Power of Hood” to expand across segments including retail, consumer products and e-commerce.

You will receive a base salary with commissions on boxes, sheets, distributors and brokers, plus perks such as vehicle reimbursement, travel/expense account and phone allowance.

Qualifications

• Experience turning leads into actual sales.
• Experience selling in Richmond or surrounding markets.
• Experience managing an annual revenue portfolio of $2–$15 Million.
• Experience supporting a variety of account sizes.
• Experience generating sales for B2B manufacturing or similar industries.
• Experience in corrugated or packaging preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Actively seek new clients while closing prospective business.
• Qualify opportunities and align with Sales Manager on viability.
• Build relationships and gain customer trust to understand needs and provide solutions.
• Learn about paper/packaging solutions and the corrugated industry.
• Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.
• Communicate pipeline and leverage CRM (Salesforce).
• Collaborate with internal teams to generate quotes and manage orders.
