Job summary

Hood Container Corporation is seeking an Account Executive with a hunter mindset to drive corrugated box sales from our Sumter, SC plant and surrounding regions. You will prospect, qualify leads, build relationships with customers, and close opportunities across retail, consumer products, e-commerce, and other markets, with a compensation plan featuring base salary and commission.

Qualifications

• Experience in corrugated industry preferred or strong connections within packaging end users.
• Outside sales experience with proven track record in B2B sales.
• Ability to manage an annual revenue portfolio of multiple millions.

Responsibilities

• Actively seek new clients and manage multiple sales cycles in parallel.
• Qualify prospects and align with management on viability of opportunities.
• Build relationships with customers to understand needs and provide solutions.
• Expand knowledge of paper/packaging solutions and industry trends.
• Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
