Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its Corporate group as a remote senior attorney. The position supports clients across industries and negotiates complex transactions, with oversight as needed. This role allows remote work with regional live eligibility, including Nashville.

The ideal candidate has a J.D. and strong corporate drafting experience, including governance, financing, and startup activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate transactional work including finance, mergers, governance.
• Drafting Board/Shareholder Resolutions for fundraising or remediation.
• Experience with IP, contracts, governance, financing, and start-ups.

Responsibilities

• Structure, negotiate, document, and manage transactions.
• Provide strategic business and legal advice to clients.
• Counsel clients on rights, contracts, and related matters.
• Advise on changes in law related to restrictive covenants and employment.
• Maintain key stakeholder relationships with clear communications on deals.
• Contribute to internal processes and deal-making resources.
