Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join their Corporate group in a 100% remote role. The ideal candidate will handle corporate transactional work, including financing, mergers, and governance, for a diverse client base across multiple industries.

As part of a national law firm, you will draft agreements, provide strategic guidance, and manage deal processes with oversight. Must be licensed in good standing and able to operate remotely from the listed regions.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree and bar in good standing.
• Experience drafting board/shareholder resolutions, operating agreements, and fundraising documents.
• Strong background in corporate governance, financing, IP rights, and contract drafting.

Responsibilities

• Structure, negotiate, document, and manage various transactions.
• Provide strategic business and legal advice to clients on general matters.
• Advise clients on legal rights, contractual responsibilities, and related matters arising from agreements.
• Advise on changes in the law with respect to restrictive covenants as they relate to employment.
• Establish and maintain key stakeholder relationships with regular, effective communication on deal negotiation and business strategy.
• Contribute to internal process development and deal-making resources.
