What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Source new acquisitions and develop relationships with key decision-makers in vertical market software businesses.
- Maintain and nurture acquisition opportunities for the employer using communication and customer relationship management tools.
- Act as the senior account manager for M&A relationships in your area of coverage.
- Effectively communicate the employer’s investment strategy while managing the investment process professionally.
- Track activities and maintain relevant information in Salesforce, generating and reporting on leads.
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be fluent in both English and French.
- Minimum of 5+ years of related business experience in sales, corporate development, consulting, banking, investing, M&A sourcing, technology/software, investor relations, or entrepreneurship/start-up.
- Strong aptitude and passion for corporate development and relationship management.
- Exceptional people skills with strong organizational, written, and verbal communication abilities.
- Self-starter with excellent prioritization and multi-tasking skills.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in mergers and acquisitions or corporate development.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar customer relationship management tools.
- Background in technology/software sectors or investor relations.
- Experience working in a remote environment.
