Job summary

Harris Healthcare is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join our Legal Team to focus on US healthcare and technology contracts, HIPAA and data privacy. This remote role reports to the Associate General Counsel, Privacy and supports the business across Harris Healthcare’s platforms.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience in a reputable firm or company, with strong drafting skills and business judgment. A JD and State Bar license are required, and the role is remote nationwide in the U.S.

Qualifications

• JD degree and active State Bar membership.
• 4+ years of experience in technology contracts and US healthcare law.
• Experience with HIPAA and data privacy/security.
• Ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements for customers and vendors.
• Lead structuring, drafting, reviewing, negotiating and closing corporate and commercial transactions.
• Create and maintain template agreements based on business and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with Legal & Compliance and cross-functional teams to support business growth.
• Identify legal trends and risks in a changing regulatory environment.
