Job summary

Harris Healthcare, part of the Harris Operating Group, is seeking a Corporate Counsel for the US market. This remote role requires 4+ years at a respected firm or company, with JD and State Bar membership. You will handle technology contracts and US healthcare law, including HIPAA, data privacy, and security.

You will draft, review and negotiate a broad mix of commercial agreements, lead transactions, and develop template forms. Close collaboration with Law & Compliance supports Harris’ growth.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience from a well-respected firm or company.
• Strong understanding of legal issues arising under technology contracts, software license agreements, and US healthcare laws including HIPAA.
• Must have a JD Degree and be a member in good standing of a State Bar.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements and contracts for customers and vendors, including license agreements, reseller agreements, service agreements, technology development agreements, and NDAs.
• Lead, from beginning to end, structuring, drafting, reviewing, negotiating and closing corporate and commercial transactions.
• Create and maintain template agreements based on business and legal requirements.
• Work with Legal & Compliance and cross-functional teams to support business growth.
• Interact with customers, vendors and external counsel; assist with various legal matters as assigned.
• Review and identify legal trends and risks in the regulatory environment.
