Job summary

Harris Healthcare seeks a Corporate Counsel to join the Legal Team. The role focuses on U.S. healthcare law, technology contracts, and commercial transactions, reporting to the Associate General Counsel, Privacy. Remote and open to candidates in the U.S.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience from a respected firm or company, with strong drafting skills, business judgment, and the ability to work independently within a cross-functional setting. JD and State Bar are required.

Qualifications

• JD degree and State Bar in good standing.
• Experience with U.S. healthcare law, HIPAA, data privacy and security.
• Experience drafting and negotiating technology/software license agreements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong business judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support for assigned Harris Healthcare business units.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements and contracts (license, reseller, service, development, NDA).
• Lead end-to-end structuring, drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and closing corporate and commercial transactions (as experience allows).
• Create and maintain template agreements per business/legal needs.
• Collaborate with Legal & Compliance and cross-functional teams to support business growth.
• Represent Harris Healthcare in negotiations with customers, vendors, and partners; coordinate with external counsel as needed.
• Identify legal trends and regulatory risks in a changing environment.
