Job summary
Harris Healthcare is seeking a corporate counsel to join our Legal Team. This remote role focuses on US healthcare and technology contracts, HIPAA, and data privacy, reporting to Associate General Counsel, Privacy. A JD and active State Bar membership are required.
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience with technology licenses, software agreements, and cross‑functional collaboration to support business growth across Harris’ healthcare units. US residency is required.
Qualifications
- JD degree and active State Bar membership required.
- 4+ years of experience in technology contracts and US healthcare law (HIPAA).
- Strong drafting and advisory skills.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for legal matters for assigned Harris Healthcare business units.
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements including licenses, services, NDAs.
- Lead structuring, drafting, reviewing, negotiating and closing corporate transactions.
- Create and maintain template agreements based on business needs.
- Collaborate with Legal & Compliance and cross-functional teams.
- Interact with customers, vendors and external counsel on negotiations and disputes.
- Monitor legal trends and regulatory risks.
