Job summary

Aurora Solar is seeking a Corporate Counsel to partner with our fast-growing legal team. You will advise on corporate matters, financings, equity administration, and governance, reporting to the Head of Legal.

This hands-on role supports cross-functional teams including Finance, People, and Product in a dynamic, global tech environment. You’ll manage complex projects, navigate regulatory requirements, and help scale Aurora’s business while maintaining prudent risk management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of corporate and securities law experience, including at least 2 years at a top-tier law firm.
• Active membership in a U.S. state bar (California or New York preferred).
• Strong governance, equity, and securities foundations with comfort navigating ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Advise on corporate and securities matters, financings, equity issues, and strategic transactions.
• Support equity plan administration, cap table management, and related reporting.
• Own multi-step projects from issue identification through resolution.
• Contribute to regulatory, employment, IP, commercial, and international matters.
• Assist with vendor and commercial contracts and risk management.
• Provide practical legal guidance to business leaders and People on employment law in US and abroad.
• Manage corporate governance for Aurora and subsidiaries, including board materials and records.
• Support litigation coordination with outside counsel as needed.
