Job summary

SunStrong Management LLC is seeking an experienced Associate General Counsel, Corporate to lead complex transactions and build scalable legal infrastructure for a fast-growing solar asset management platform.

The role involves drafting and negotiating asset management agreements, commercial contracts, and M&A-related documents, while partnering with senior leadership to design efficient processes and governance. Remote work with national scope and cross-functional collaboration are core features.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
• 7–12+ years of experience (law firm + in-house preferred).
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Excellent analytical abilities and business sense.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiation of commercial agreements including MSAs, NDAs, SAAS contracts, and related documents.
• Build and standardize contracting templates and playbooks.
• Define deal processes from term sheet to close with checklists and risk flags.
• Embed legal with business, operations, and finance teams.
• Advise on governance, board materials, and M&A strategy and integration.
