Job summary

Solar Landscape seeks an Associate General Counsel – General Corporate/Finance to join its legal team. This remote, fully remote role collaborates across corporate law, project finance, and project development, guiding governance and deal execution.

The ideal candidate has a JD with 1+ years in corporate law, contract negotiations, and regulatory compliance, plus the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting. Location flexibility within the United States is offered.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing (required).
• 1+ years of corporate law experience including project finance and/or M&A.
• Strong contract negotiation and regulatory compliance experience.
• Ability to balance business goals with legal/regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide general corporate and transactional legal support, including project financing and RECs transactions.
• Manage entity formation, registrations, and compliance with state/federal filings (including FERC).
• Oversee subscriber acquisition and related legal documents.
• Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs and other key agreements.
• Support project finance, development, and cross-functional collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and resolve title/survey issues impacting solar projects.
