Job summary
Harris Healthcare is seeking a business-minded Corporate Counsel to join the Legal Team, focusing on U.S. healthcare and technology contracts.
You will draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including license, service and development agreements, and work closely with cross-functional teams. Candidates should have 4+ years with a top firm or company, a JD, and bar admission, with strong drafting skills and business judgment.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of US healthcare law, including HIPAA, data privacy and security.
- Experience drafting/reviewing technology/software license agreements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong judgment.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for legal matters for assigned Harris Healthcare business units.
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements and contracts for customers and vendors, including license, reseller, service, and development agreements, and NDAs.
- Lead end-to-end structuring, drafting, reviewing, negotiating and closing corporate and commercial transactions according to experience.
- Create and maintain template agreements based on business and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with Legal & Compliance and cross-functional teams to support business growth.
- Interact with customers, vendors and external counsel on negotiations and dispute resolution.
