Copeland is seeking a remote Controls Trainer to deliver technical training on Copeland controls and system components to customers, contractors, wholesalers, end users, OEMs, and employees across the commercial refrigeration industry.

You will translate complex controls concepts into practical, hands-on learning that helps technicians install, program, operate, and troubleshoot our controls portfolio with confidence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience with commercial refrigeration controls in field service, engineering, or equivalent.
• 2+ years CO2 system experience focusing on controls and common service questions.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills for varied audiences.
• Working knowledge of controls programming, wiring diagrams, and system troubleshooting.
• Ability to travel up to 80%.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led, virtual, and multimedia training on controls hardware, software, and architecture.
• Conduct standard and custom courses for customers and OEMs.
• Facilitate hands-on demonstrations and troubleshooting exercises.
• Maintain and update curriculum, exercises, and materials with the team.
• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and SMEs to reflect latest tech.
• Review and validate content with instructional designers.
• Assess training effectiveness and update materials accordingly.
• Travel to client sites and training centers as needed.
• Provide post-training support and reference resources.
