Job summary

FirstPRO, Inc seeks a Controller for a PE-backed healthcare platform. This fully remote role includes occasional travel and reports directly to the CFO, overseeing an accounting team of about 20 and driving finance infrastructure scale.

Ideal candidates bring 8–12+ years of leadership in accounting, with PE/multi-entity exposure, strong GAAP and close/audit experience; CPA preferred but not required. In-person meetings may occur in PA, NJ, NYC or MA.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience.
• Private equity-backed and multi-entity experience preferred.
• Healthcare, physician practice or MSO exposure preferred.
• G.A.A.P., financial reporting, close and audit background.
• CPA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 20-person accounting organization and report to CFO.
• Oversee acquisitions, due diligence, purchase accounting and consolidations.
• Drive ERP integration and chart-of-accounts alignment.
• Improve systems, automation, controls and accounting infrastructure.
