Job summary

Bell & Associates, Inc. is assisting our client in recruiting a Corporate Controller to build the accounting infrastructure from the ground up within a PE-backed platform.

The Controller will own the full controllership function, including close, reporting, internal controls, GAAP compliance, and treasury, while leading the financial integration of acquisitions and implementing the company ERP and tech stack. Remote with travel, based in Central or Mountain time.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience in a multi-entity environment.
• PE-backed, acquisitive background with post-close integration experience is highly preferred.
• Technical accounting expertise: ASC 805/606/842; ERP implementations; debt covenants and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly close across all entities and improve timeliness and accuracy.
• Lead purchase accounting for acquisitions (PPA, opening/closing balance sheets).
• Oversee treasury, cash management, and 13-week rolling forecast.
• Lead ERP implementation and act as system super-user.
• Ensure lender covenant compliance and reporting to PE sponsors.
