Job summary

SECTR Partners, a private equity-backed, multi-site healthcare organization, seeks an experienced Controller to lead the accounting function and support growth through scale with strong financial discipline.

You will own the monthly close, drive consolidated reporting across locations, ensure GAAP compliance, and oversee multi-entity accounting integration as the platform scales via M&A.

Qualifications

• CPA certification required with strong US GAAP expertise.
• 7+ years progressive accounting leadership experience.
• Experience in multi-site healthcare or physician practice management.
• Background in PE-backed, high-growth environments preferred.
• Proven ability to lead consolidations and post-acquisition accounting.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes for the platform.
• Lead consolidated financial reporting across multiple entities and sites.
• Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, accruals, and financial statements.
• Maintain strong internal controls and GAAP compliance.
• Drive post-acquisition integration and standardize processes.
• Manage external auditors and tax partners relationships.
• Support senior finance leadership on PE reporting and strategic initiatives.

We are partnering with a private equity-backed, multi-site healthcare organization seeking an experienced Controller to lead the accounting function and support the continued growth of the platform. The role will oversee financial reporting, close, controls, multi-entity consolidation, and accounting integration as the organization continues to scale through M&A.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly and year-end close process
• Lead consolidated financial reporting across multiple entities and locations
• Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, accruals and financial statements
• Maintain strong internal controls and GAAP compliance
• Support the financial integration of newly acquired practices
• Standardize accounting processes across acquired and existing entities
• Lead and develop the corporate accounting team
• Manage relationships with external auditors and tax partners
• Drive improvements to accounting systems, processes and reporting
• Partner with senior finance leadership on PE reporting and strategic initiatives

Requirements

• CPA
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Previous Controller, Assistant Controller or senior accounting leadership experience
• Experience within multi-site healthcare or physician practice management
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience managing multi-entity consolidations
• Exposure to M&A and post-acquisition accounting integration
• Experience operating within a PE-backed, high-growth environment preferred
• Strong leadership, systems and process-improvement capabilities
