Job summary

ISSA is seeking a seasoned Controller to lead our accounting organization in a 100% remote role. You will oversee GAAP, audits, and tax, while driving process automation and ERP migration efforts.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in accounting, CPA credentials, and experience in fast-paced environments. Join a mission-driven team passionate about health and fitness, with strong emphasis on technology enablement and scalable processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA essential.
• MBA a plus but not required.
• 10+ years progressive accounting experience including 2+ years as a Controller.
• Big 8 public accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting close processes and consolidations.
• Prepare GAAP and bookings-based financials for internal/external audiences.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash forecasting.
• Lead internal controls, audits, tax engagements, and payroll compliance.
• Partner with Technology to optimize order-to-cash processes and ERP upgrades.
