Job summary

ISSA is seeking a seasoned Controller to lead accounting operations, ensuring GAAP compliance and accurate reporting. The role oversees close, consolidations, and financial controls while driving process improvements and ERP initiatives across a fast-growing eCommerce environment.

You will partner with the CFO and department heads to implement scalable solutions, enhance data integrity, and manage a high-performing accounting team in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience including 2+ years in a Controller role.
• Public accounting experience with a Big 8 firm is preferred.
• Experience in eCommerce and performance marketing is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required; MBA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Lead close processes, consolidations, and financial reporting.
• Drive internal controls, audits, and tax compliance activities.
• Partner with leadership to implement new systems and process improvements.
• Guide ERP selection and integration and optimize order-to-cash workflows.
