Job summary

Bram i Inc. is seeking a Controller to own day-to-day accounting operations and build a scalable financial infrastructure for a fast-growing company. You will manage the monthly close, inventory and COGS accounting, and lead a small accounting team, reporting to the CFO.

You bring 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, CPA preferred, with strong GAAP knowledge and ERP proficiency. This remote role supports US operations and requires experience in a high-growth consumer products

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience including Controller or Assistant Controller.
• CPG/food & beverage familiarity with inventory accounting and co-manufacturer relations.
• Experience with trade spend, deductions, and promotional accounting.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and experience with external audits.
• Proficiency with NetSuite or similar ERP and advanced Excel.
• Builder mindset with process creation and reconciliation skills.
• Experience in high-growth or scaling companies.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Oversee inventory and cost accounting across co-manufacturers, 3PLs, warehouses.
• Manage trade spend and deductions with sales and demand planning teams.
• Maintain internal controls and accounting policies for a scaling business.
• Oversee AP/AR, cash flow monitoring and vendor payments.
• Coordinate annual financial statement audits and tax preparers.
• Ensure accurate and timely tax filings across jurisdictions.
• Lead ERP administration and improve month-end close checklists.
• Partner with CFO on cash forecasting and budget-to-actual analysis.
• Hire, manage, and develop accounting staff as the team grows.
