Job summary

Brami is seeking a Controller to own the day-to-day accounting operations and build the financial infrastructure for a fast-growing company in the Philadelphia area.

You will report to the CFO, manage the monthly close, supervise inventory and COGS accounting, and lead a small accounting team as the business scales. Experience in the CPG sector and strong GAAP knowledge are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, incl. Controller/Assistant Controller roles.
• CPG/food & beverage industry experience preferred, with inventory accounting familiarity.
• Hands-on experience with trade spend and promotional accounting.
• GAAP knowledge and experience with external audits.

Responsibilities

• Own month-, quarter-, and year-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Oversee inventory and cost accounting across co-manufacturers, 3PLs, and warehouses with standard costing.
• Lead A/P and A/R functions, monitor cash flow, and manage vendor payment cycles.
• Coordinate annual financial statement audit or review and tax preparers.
• Maintain internal controls and accounting policies for a scaling business.
