Job summary

Urrly, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Controller to own the accounting close, GAAP reporting, and systems in a remote U.S. setting. You will handle bank reconciliations, inventory costing, and cash visibility, with a small fractional finance team to support your transition.

You'll lead QuickBooks Online, AP/AR, payroll coordination, and contribute to ERP system selections as the company scales. Equity is part of the compensation package.

Qualifications

• GAAP fundamentals essential for monthly close and reporting.
• Experience with inventory costing in a physical-product business.
• Hands-on ERP implementations and finance system improvements.
• Ability to own the books and close processes end-to-end.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and related financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Run monthly close, reconciliations, journal entries, and GAAP reporting.
• Own QuickBooks Online, chart of accounts, AP/AR, payroll coordination, cash visibility.
• Reconcile inventory, strengthen costing, landed-cost, COGS, inventory controls.
• Support accounting for hardware sales, subscriptions, and services revenue.
• Identify errors, improve controls, and help select ERP systems.
