Alt is remote-friendly in the US and is seeking a Controller to build and own its accounting function from scratch. You will bring in-house the finance function, finalize audits, and lead US GAAP accrual adoption while scaling a small team as volume grows.

You will manage month-end close, revenue recognition policy, COA, tax calendars, and external audits. The role reports to the Head of Finance and offers equity along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Competenze

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with controllership in industry.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and experience converting to full accrual.
• Proven experience managing external audits and PBC deliverables.

Mansioni

• Own the monthly close end-to-end and drive to a 5-day, audit-ready close.
• Lead conversion of revenue recognition across multiple streams to US GAAP.
• Own COA and revenue policy; tie GL to data warehouse for automated postings.
• Be the primary contact for external auditors and manage walkthroughs.
• Own the corporate tax calendar and coordinate with tax advisors.
• Oversee covenant and borrowing-base reporting with the Head of Finance.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and scale in-house over time.
