Job summary

Snap! Mobile, Inc. seeks a remote Controller & Director of Accounting to lead the accounting function, ensure GAAP-compliant reporting, and guide internal controls.

You will mentor the accounting team, partner with executive leadership, and deliver timely financial insights to inform strategic decisions. The ideal candidate has a BS in accounting or finance, a CPA, 8+ years of experience with 3+ in leadership, and strong NetSuite/ERP and CRM data reconciliation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA license required.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive accounting experience, incl. 3 years in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency with NetSuite and ERP software; CRM data reconciliation with Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the accounting department, including general ledger, payables/receivables, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls for GAAP compliance.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with accuracy.
• Improve financial workflows to shorten month-end close and automate data entry.
• Coordinate external audits and tax filings with auditors and advisors.
• Provide analysis to senior management for budgeting and forecasting.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk.
• Ensure the accounting team is trained, motivated, and aligned with goals.
• Stay current with accounting regulations and best practices.
