Job summary

Unacast seeks a Director of Accounting & Controller to lead accounting, treasury, and reporting for a high-growth company. Partner with the CFO, serve as a technical accounting expert, and own the close process across multiple U.S. entities.

The role requires CPA, 10+ years in accounting, strong ASC 606 knowledge, NetSuite system administration, and a track record of process improvement. Remote-first with periodic Ashburn, VA meetups.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting experience with increasing responsibility.
• CPA required and public accounting background preferred.
• Strong ASC 606 knowledge and experience with recurring revenue models.
• Deep experience in technical accounting, close and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly close, reconciliations, accruals, consolidations for three U.S. entities.
• Prepare GAAP-compliant internal and external financial statements.
• Produce cash forecasts, cost analyses, and recurring reporting.
