Job summary

Snapdocs is seeking a Controller to own accounting end to end, from technical accounting to close, audit readiness, and reporting. You will lead a small team, set a 12-month roadmap, and partner with Product, Revenue, and Finance to shape decisions with strong judgment.

The ideal candidate has CPA credentials, 8+ years in accounting, and a proven ability to streamline processes in a SaaS or recurring-revenue environment. Equity and benefits accompany a competitive US-based salary.

Qualifications

• CPA required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including controller-level ownership.
• Strong command of technical accounting and GAAP.
• Experience running audits and close with ownership and accountability.
• Proven track record of improving accounting operations in lean environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the accounting function end to end, including close, audit readiness, and core reporting operations.
• Lead and develop the accounting team with direct reports.
• Develop a 12-month accounting roadmap and execute it.
• Shorten close timelines and reduce manual work.
• Collaborate with Product, Revenue, Customer Success, and Finance early in decision-making.
• Guide decisions on new products, pricing, contracts, and business changes.
• Evaluate team structure and operating model to improve efficiency.
