Post University is seeking a Compliance & Contracts Attorney to serve as a legal advisor to institutional stakeholders, focusing on collaboration under supervision of University Counsel. The role supports contracts, Title IX and ADA, IP, privacy, technology, and other regulatory matters for in-person and online programs.

This fully remote position involves drafting and negotiating agreements, providing regulatory guidance, and assisting with international compliance and related matters.

Formación

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited US law school.
• Strive to attain approved house counsel status in Connecticut.
• Strong critical thinking and excellent legal analysis skills.
• Interest in developing expertise in contract review and key contractual provisions.
• Ability to develop knowledge of higher education laws, regulations and policies.

Responsabilidades

• Drafts, reviews, revises, and negotiates a variety of agreements including vendor and technology agreements and data privacy matters.
• Reviews student communications for regulatory compliance and best practices.
• Provides legal advice on ethical operations and compliance.
• Assists with international compliance for the student population.
• Supports with privacy, IT security, FERPA, GDPR, and related regulatory matters.
