Post University is seeking a Compliance & Contracts Attorney to advise institutional stakeholders on contracts, Title IX and ADA, privacy, IP and regulatory matters. This remote role collaborates with the legal & regulatory team, faculty and staff under University Counsel.

Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing and negotiating vendor, technology and data agreements, providing education on compliance, and supporting international matters as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited US law school.
• Attaining approved house counsel status in Connecticut is required.
• Strong critical thinking and excellent legal analysis skills.
• Superior drafting and negotiating skills.
• Ability to develop working knowledge of laws and policies related to higher education.

Aufgaben

• Provide legal advice on contracts, Title IX and ADA, IP, privacy, technology, and regulatory compliance.
• Draft, review, revise and negotiate contracts and business documents to support in-person and online education programs.
• Assist with international compliance for a growing international student population.
• Review group student communications for regulatory compliance and best practices.
• Conduct legal research and develop educational resources on regulatory issues.
• Support with privacy, GLBA, GDPR, NCAA, FERPA, TCPA, Title VI and related marketing law.
