Job summary

Post University is seeking a Compliance & Contracts Attorney to serve as a legal advisor to institutional stakeholders, supervised by University Counsel. The role focuses on contracts, Title IX and ADA compliance, intellectual property, privacy, technology, and other regulatory matters for both in-person and online programs.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited US law school.
• house counsel status in Connecticut required.
• Strong legal analysis and drafting skills.
• Experience with higher education law preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficient in legal research.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, revise, and negotiate a variety of contracts and policies.
• Provide guidance on regulatory compliance and student/employee matters.
• Advise on data privacy, IT security, and international compliance.
• Support compliance with GLBA, GDPR, FERPA, NCAA, TCPA, Title VI.
• Perform legal research and develop educational resources.
