Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Staff Attorney to join our team. The Staff Attorney will assist the Chief Legal Officer and Associate General Counsel with legal matters, draft documents, conduct research, manage templates and records, and prepare correspondence under limited supervision.

The role involves contract drafting and negotiation, providing legal counsel to staff, and maintaining filing systems. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Law degree (ABA-accredited) required or preferred.
• License to practice law required.
• Some experience in a law firm or in-house legal dept.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and legal document templates.

Responsibilities

• Research statutes, decisions, contracts and legal articles.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts for the organization.
• Prepare memorandums and correspondence.
• Advise on legal issues and changes affecting Navitus.
• Provide counsel to staff on policies and practices.
• File legal documents in digital and physical systems.
• Develop processes for indexing and filing contracts and records.
• Support other departments on contracts and regulatory matters.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
